Job summary

PURIS is seeking a Boiler Operator to operate and maintain the boiler and the boiler truck/trailer used during Cured in Place Process (CIPP) lining installations. The role supports a crew performing trenchless sewer and storm line rehabilitation for municipal, industrial, and storm sewer systems, driving to sites and heating lines as required.

Candidates should have a CDL Class A or B license (CDL with HAZMAT preferred) and be able to work in outdoor field conditions, in all weather.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat endorsements required within 90 days.
• Experience in construction or water/sewer utilities is preferred.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Drive the boiler truck/tractor-trailer to work sites.
• Operate boiler and related sewer equipment; monitor temperature/pressure.
• Perform pre/post operation inspections and routine maintenance.
• Assist crew with site preparation, line installation, and cleanup as directed by Foreman.
• Complete boiler pre-fire steps and manage curing process.
