Job summary

PURIS is seeking a Field Technician – Construction Laborer to work on sewer and stormwater rehabilitation projects across North America. You will locate, investigate, and assist in cleaning and repairing lines, collaborating with supervisors and peers to ensure safe, efficient execution.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, construction or outdoor labor experience, and a willingness to travel up to 90%.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalency required.
Experience in physical labor outdoors required.
CDL preferred.
Acceptable driving record.
Safety certifications (Confined Space, Competent Person, OSHA 10/30) as required.

Responsibilities

Work with supervisors and peers on water and sewer rehabilitation and repair projects.
Direct equipment and coordinate machinery to fit location needs.
Assist in job-site setup and cleanup, including lifting up to 50–75 lbs.
Review permits and pre/post-installation videos as needed.
Enter manholes and confined spaces when required.
Drive vehicles to haul equipment and crew.
Maintain daily vehicle/equipment logs and submit maintenance work orders.
Monitor safety hazards and report issues to supervisor.
Other tasks as assigned.
