Job summary

PURIS is seeking a Pipelayer to support trenchless rehabilitation projects across North America. This role requires outdoor construction work and the ability to operate and assist with heavy equipment on-site.

Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel and comply with safety standards. CDL is preferred and a high school diploma is required, with experience in confined spaces and field logistics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in outdoor construction or physical labor.
• CDL license preferred.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Safety certifications for Confined Space and OSHA hours preferred.
• Drug test and license checks required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervisors on water and sewer rehab projects.
• Direct equipment alignment, movement, and adjustment to fit site needs.
• Assist in setup and cleanup; lift and pull items up to 50–75 lbs.
• Review entry and work permits; review pre/post-installation videos.
• Enter manhole and confined spaces.
• Perform job site setup and cleanup.
• Haul equipment and crew by driving various vehicles.
• Submit driver’s daily records and maintenance work orders.
• Monitor safety hazards; report issues to the supervisor.
• Other tasks as assigned.
