Job summary

TD&I Cable Maintenance, LLC. is hiring Laborers for our telecommunications construction projects. No experience is required; a driver’s license is required. You will work outdoors, perform strenuous tasks up to 50 lbs, and follow site instructions from Foreman and Supervisor.

On-the-job training is provided and benefits are offered. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, with expected hours of 40 to 70 per week.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification is required, although a High School diploma may be preferred.
• Driver's license required with minimal traffic violations within the last 5 years.
• Similar work experience may be beneficial.
• Willingness to undertake training when necessary.
• Be able to work in a team setting as part of a construction crew.
• Be able to work outdoors and have good physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
• Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Removing debris/garbage and conduct restoration at work sites.
• Assembling and breaking down barricades and temporary structures.
• Upon qualifying for a DOT Medical Card, assist and operate combinations of commercial vehicles and trailers over 10,000 LBS.
• If operating commercial vehicle and trailer combinations over 26,000 LBS, drivers require a CDL with tanker endorsement per FMCSA/DOT guidelines.
• Regulating traffic and erecting traffic signs per MUTCD guidelines.
• Following all health and OSHA 1926 Construction Safety standards and regulations.
• Digging potholes, trenching, and other underground excavation work.
