TD&I Cable Maintenance, LLC. is seeking Laborers to join our telecommunications construction crews in Des Moines, IA. You will follow site foreman instructions, prepare sites, load materials, and assist with traffic control and safety regulations.

No prior experience is required, but a valid driver’s license is needed and you must be able to perform strenuous outdoor work and lift up to 50 lbs. On-the-job training is provided with great benefits.

Qualificações

• Driver's license required with minimal traffic violations within the last 5 years.
• Willingness to undertake training when necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools
• Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
• Removing debris/garbage and conduct restoration at work sites
• Assembling and breaking down barricades and temporary structures
• Assisting and operating combinations of commercial vehicles and trailers as DOT/CDL eligibility allows
• Regulating traffic and erecting traffic signs per MUTCD guidelines
• Following health and OSHA 1926 Construction Safety standards and regulations
• Digging potholes, trenching, and other underground excavation work

We are looking to hire Laborers within the telecommunications construction industry. Laborer will participate in a variety of construction projects and follow construction plans and instructions from the site Foreman and Supervisor

No experience necessary; driver's license required. This position requires Laborer to work well as part of a team, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks lifting up to 50 LBS. On the job training provided, with great benefits!

Requirements

Laborer Responsibilities:

• Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools
• Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
• Removing debris/garbage and conduct restoration at work sites
• Assembling and breaking down barricades and temporary structures
• Upon qualifying for a DOT Medical Card, assist and operate combinations of commercial vehicles and trailers over 10,000 LBS
• Additionally, if operating commercial vehicle and trailer combinations over 26,000 LBS, drivers are required to have and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a tanker endorsement, per FMCSA/DOT guidelines
• Regulating traffic and erecting traffic signs per MUTCD guidelines
• Following all health and OSHA 1926 Construction Safety standards and regulations
• Digging potholes, trenching, and other underground excavation work

Requirements:

• No formal qualification is required, although a High School diploma may be preferred
• Driver's license required with minimal traffic violations within the last 5 years.
• Similar work experience may be beneficial
• Willingness to undertake training when necessary
• Be able to work in a team setting as part of a construction crew
• Be able to work outdoors and have good physical stamina

Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience and license classExpected hours: 40 – 70 per week
