Job summary

TD&I Cable Maintenance, LLC is seeking laborers to support telecommunications construction projects. The CDL Laborer will follow site plans and work under the Foreman and Supervisor, participating in a range of outdoor tasks.

No prior experience required; a CDL license is required. The role emphasizes teamwork, physical stamina, and lifting up to 50 lbs, with on-the-job training and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification required, though a High School diploma may be preferred.
• Driver's license and CDL required.
• Willingness to undertake training when necessary.
• Be able to work outdoors and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
• Removing debris/garbage and conducting restoration at work sites.
• Assembling and breaking down barricades and temporary structures.
• Assist and operate combinations of commercial vehicles and trailers over 10,000 LBS after DOT medical card qualification.
• Maintain safety standards per FMCSA/DOT guidelines and MUTCD traffic signs.
• Digging potholes, trenching, and other underground excavation work.

CALLING ALL CDL WORKERS!

We are looking to hire Laborers within the telecommunications construction industry. The CDL Laborer will participate in a variety of construction projects and follow construction plans and instructions from the site Foreman and Supervisor

No experience necessary; CDL license required. This position requires the CDL Laborer to work well as part of a team, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks lifting up to 50 LBS. On the job training provided, with great benefits!

Requirements

Laborer Responsibilities:

• Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools
• Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
• Removing debris/garbage and conduct restoration at work sites
• Assembling and breaking down barricades and temporary structures
• Upon qualifying for a DOT Medical Card, assist and operate combinations of commercial vehicles and trailers over 10,000 LBS
• Additionally, if operating commercial vehicle and trailer combinations over 26,000 LBS, drivers are required to have and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a tanker endorsement, per FMCSA/DOT guidelines
• Regulating traffic and erecting traffic signs per MUTCD guidelines
• Following all health and OSHA 1926 Construction Safety standards and regulations
• Digging potholes, trenching, and other underground excavation work

Requirements:

• Similar work experience may be beneficial
• Willingness to undertake training when necessary
• Be able to work in a team setting as part of a construction crew
• Be able to work outdoors and have good physical stamina

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
