Ideal candidates have 5+ years of underground utility or heavy civil experience, strong leadership, and a proven safety and quality record. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $115,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underground utility or heavy civil construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and excavation/trench safety.
• Travel to jobsites and extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for underground utility and heavy civil construction projects.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and suppliers to ensure work is ready before each phase.
• Review project plans, specifications, scopes of work, and schedules to understand project requirements.
• Plan daily and weekly field activities to maintain production and meet project schedules.
• Mentor and develop foremen and field employees to improve leadership and productivity.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct daily safety meetings.
