Job summary

Terra Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our project management and field operations for underground utility projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to keep projects moving smoothly.

The ideal candidate is organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and proficient with MS Office. Prior underground utilities or civil construction experience is preferred. This role offers growth within the construction industry.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction industry experience required.
• Experience with underground utilities, civil construction, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of underground utility projects.
• Help develop, track, and maintain project schedules and goals.
• Track project milestones, accomplishments, and outstanding items.
• Coordinate activities between office and field teams.
• Communicate project updates and follow up on outstanding items.
• Maintain project documentation: contracts, permits, dig tickets, change orders, plans, specs, and reports.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence.
• Review project information and communicate updates to the team.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, equipment and other resources.
• Review plans for clarifications and identify issues to escalate to the Project Manager.
• Support field leadership with project-related coordination and administrative needs.
