Ezee Fiber is seeking a dedicated Locates Technician to identify and mark underground utilities, protecting our infrastructure and ensuring safe excavation practices. You will work with field teams, contractors, and utility partners to prevent service disruptions and maintain network integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; fiber optics certifications are a plus.
• Experience or training in utility locating, construction, surveying, or related field is advantageous.
• Ability to operate utility locating equipment and interpret data accurately.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather, with good physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mark underground utilities with locating equipment.
• Clearly mark positions on ground using paint, flags, or stakes.
• Collaborate with field teams, contractors, and engineers to ensure safe projects.
• Use Konterra and 3GIS mapping to track locate tickets and report results.
• Document work with photos and reports; respond to after-hours tickets as needed.
