N&S LOCATING SERVICES d.b.a. S&N is seeking a Locate Technician to safely identify and mark underground utilities for excavation projects. You will perform field surveys and use GPS and locating tools to provide precise utility locations for construction teams.

This role requires strong attention to detail, map/blueprint interpretation, and a firm safety mindset. Outdoor work in various weather and terrains, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of utility locating or related field experience.
• Experience with utility maps and blueprints.
• Proficiency with GPS devices and electronic locating equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to identify and mark underground utilities.
• Interpret maps and blueprints to locate utilities accurately.
• Maintain records of markings and surveys for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with construction teams and clients on locations.
• Respond to emergency locate requests as needed.
