Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate detection equipment to locate and mark underground utilities, with guidance from experienced Locators.
• Read utility maps to locate utilities correctly.
• Document all locates accurately.
• Respond promptly and courteously to excavation notices.
• Communicate effectively with excavators, utility representatives, and staff.
