Job summary

USIC is seeking outdoor-minded locators to identify and accurately mark underground utilities in designated areas. You will safely locate telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer lines, recording locations and photographing each find.

This full-time role offers a 48-hour turnaround on many locates, requires overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts. We provide paid training, a company vehicle, a fuel card, and comprehensive benefits to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and field tools.
• Able to communicate clearly with team, customers, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately in designated areas.
• Mark locations and complete required documentation and photography of each locate.
• Review tickets, maps, and prints; maintain clear records and reports.
• Work daytime, full-time hours with possible overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
