Job summary

USIC is hiring locator positions across the North Shore and Northwest Suburbs. Starting at $21.00 per hour, with progression to $33.00 per hour for experienced locators.

The role involves outdoor fieldwork, driving a company vehicle, and performing marks on utilities while coordinating with customers and contractors. Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and field tools may be required.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive role).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to read locate tickets and maps, and document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently in designated areas.
• Mark locations accurately and complete necessary documentation.
• Photograph each locate and maintain detailed records of work.
