Job summary

USIC is seeking locators to perform underground utility location work across the North Shore and Northwest Suburbs. Starting at $21.00 per hour, with potential up to $33.00 per hour for experienced locators.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
