Job summary

WorkNet Staffing seeks a Utility Construction and Maintenance Foreman to supervise daily operations of crews involved in underground utility infrastructure. You will coordinate field personnel and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and standards-compliant project completion.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CDL-A, and prior supervisory experience in utility construction. Strong record-keeping, utility locating, and coordination with management on schedules are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in utility construction, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Previous supervisory or foreman-level experience overseeing field crews and equipment operations.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage work orders using computerized systems.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Ability/experience locating utilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign daily work activities.
• Supervise crews performing repairs to utility system components.
• Monitor project progress.
• Inspect completed work.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Maintain records of labor, materials, equipment usage, and work orders; coordinate with management on priorities and schedules.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; supervise personnel, resolve field issues, and maintain productive working relationships with employees, contractors, and the public.
