Job summary

PURIS is seeking a dedicated Field Superintendent to join our Underground Utilities team in Tampa, FL. You will work with the Project Manager/Operations Manager to plan, coordinate, execute, and track all project activities, while representing PURIS at the site and directing trades.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in civil wet utilities, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• 3+ years of civil wet utilities construction experience.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Skilled collaborator.
• Excels in a high-paced work environment.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Focused and supportive to management at all times.
• Self-starter who works well independently.
• Adaptable and calm under pressure.
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions with scheduling, engineering and material control to meet project objectives.
• Direct field supervisors, superintendents and other contractors to ensure productivity and contract performance.
• Represent the company at the project site and coordinate activities of trades on site.
• Support project management in developing Work Plans and procedures to achieve goals.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental initiatives are followed on site.
