Job summary

Magnolia Plumbing, LLC is seeking an experienced Utility Division Plumber to join our team in the DC metro area. The role focuses on repairs and installations of sewer and water lines, and requires safe operation of digging and excavation equipment in outdoor environments.

Ideal candidates have a Journeyman Plumbing License with 2+ years of plumbing or utility experience and a strong knowledge of underground utilities. A valid driver's license and pass of a background check are preferred.

Qualifications

• Journeyman plumbing license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of plumbing or utility experience preferred.
• Experience with sewer and water line installation and repairs.
• Ability to operate digging and excavation equipment.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and underground utilities.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and installations of sewer and water lines.
• Install, maintain, and repair underground water and sewer systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with water and sewer lines.
• Operate digging and excavation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation and related utility work as needed.
• Follow proper safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects safely and effectively.
