Job summary

Magnolia Plumbing, LLC is seeking an experienced Utility Division Plumber to join our growing team in the DC metropolitan area. This role focuses on repairs and installations of sewer and water lines, with an emphasis on safety and efficient workmanship.

The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman Plumbing License and at least two years of relevant experience, with the ability to operate digging and excavation equipment and safely manage underground utilities.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumbing License is required.
• Minimum 2 years of plumbing or utility experience preferred.
• Experience with sewer and water line installation and repairs.
• Ability to operate digging and excavation equipment.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and underground utilities.
• Able to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and installations of sewer and water lines.
• Install, maintain, and repair underground water and sewer systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with water and sewer lines.
• Operate digging and excavation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation and related utility work as needed.
• Follow proper safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects safely and effectively.
