Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with master craft designation training.
• Minimum 5 years in underground construction trades.
• Connecticut Natural Gas Utility experience and operator qualifications.
• OSHA-10 certification, DOT medical card, valid driver’s license, background check.
• Ability to lead a crew and make precise decisions within standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of the work crew for installation, maintenance, and repair of piping/equipment.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine procedures and perform work safely.
• Supervise, motivate, and direct subordinates on job sites.
• Ensure qualifications and training are up to date for customer requirements.
