Job summary

Brice Construction & Design LLC is seeking an Underground Foreman to lead on-site underground utilities work in Houston, TX and nearby areas. The role involves directing the crew, reviewing schedules, ensuring work aligns with contract plans, and enforcing Company policies and safety standards.

You will supervise and coordinate field crews, maintain daily logs, and ensure timely completion within budget while upholding quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years in the civil construction field.
• Three years supervising a construction crew as Foreman or Lead.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to pass a drug, driving, and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Execute work plans and schedules following contract requirements, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel.
• Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs.
• Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
• Create schedules for workers and subcontractors.
• Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, timesheets, and daily management reports.
• Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within the estimated costs.
