Job summary

Cable-services is seeking an experienced individual to operate hydraulic excavation equipment for installing underground utilities in the Danville area of Pennsylvania. This role involves daily equipment inspections, safe operation of machinery, and working outside in varied conditions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with directional bore drills and a Class A CDL. Full benefits package is included along with opportunities for travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• One year of experience operating a directional bore drill.
• Previous rock-boring experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to assist in placing underground utilities.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment before work.
• Restore and/or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction prints

Knowledge of utility depths and placements

General knowledge of construction practices

Interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Education

Class A CDL
