Job summary

cable-services is seeking a qualified individual to operate hydraulic excavation equipment for the construction/upgrade of underground utilities in Williamsport, United States. The role involves loading/unloading equipment, ensuring safety, and completing inspections. Candidates should have experience with utility operations and hold a Class A CDL. Qualifications

• One year of experience operating a directional bore drill.
• Previous rock-boring experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment securely.
• Transport tools and materials safely.
• Operate equipment to assist in placing underground utilities.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Restore disturbed areas of the jobsite.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction prints

Knowledge of utility depths and placements

General knowledge of construction practices

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to move materials/equipment weighing up to 80 pounds

Willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions

Education

Class A CDL

One year of experience operating a directional bore drill

Previous rock-boring experience

One year of experience with hydraulic excavators, skid loaders, and dozers
