Job summary

cable-services is seeking a skilled operator for hydraulic excavation equipment to assist in the installation and upgrade of underground utilities. The role involves ensuring safety protocols are followed while performing equipment inspections and operating machinery efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have experience with directional bore drills and hydraulic systems, along with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work under various weather conditions. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with hydraulic excavators, skid loaders, and dozers.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds occasionally.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment securely and without damage.
• Operate equipment to assist in placing underground utilities.
• Complete inspections of equipment before work starts.
• Adhere to company safety policies.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction prints

General knowledge of construction practices

Ability to work in various environments

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Education

Class A CDL

One year of experience operating a directional bore drill
