Job summary

Royal Electric invites applications for Laborers to support infrastructure projects in Austin and San Antonio, TX. The role involves underground excavation for utilities, basic concrete work, and collaboration with electricians and skilled crews. Candidates should be able to lift 75 lbs and travel within Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of general construction laborer experience.
• Experience with airfield, underground utilities, or civil is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must read, write and follow instructions.
• OSHA 10 certification (special consideration).
• Willing to travel throughout Texas.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize and demobilize the jobsite; set-up, break down, staging, clean up.
• Assist electricians and operating engineers with underground utilities placement.
• Perform concrete pours and form work.
• General labor tasks: shoveling, trenching, grading, cribbing, lifting and carrying heavy materials.
• Operate and maintain tools and company vehicles.
• Backfill trenches and pits; hand dig; shovel work.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
