Job summary

Royal Electric Company is hiring Laborers for infrastructure projects in Austin and San Antonio, TX. The role supports electricians and other trades in underground utilities work, digging, and concrete tasks.

The position requires 2+ years in construction, ability to lift 75 lbs, and a readiness to travel throughout Texas; OSHA 10 certification is preferred. This is a non-exempt, full-time role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general construction laborer experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Experience with duct banks and conduit
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Willing to travel throughout Texas

Responsibilities

• Mobilize and demobilize the jobsite; set-up, break down, staging, clean up, etc.
• Assist electricians and operating engineers in the placement of underground utilities
• Perform concrete work including pours and form work
• Perform general labor tasks: shoveling, trenching, grading, lifting, loading/unloading trucks
• Operate and maintain tools and company vehicles
• Backfill trenches and pits; hand dig; assist crew as needed
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by the supervisor
