Job summary

Royal Electric Company is hiring Laborers for infrastructure projects in Austin, TX, including work at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The role involves underground utility exposure, concrete work, and assisting skilled trades.

You must be safety-conscious, physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs, and able to read and follow written instructions. OSHA 10 certification is a plus, and a HS Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general laborer experience in construction.
• Experience with airfield, underground utilities, or civil work is a plus.
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and safety awareness.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience reading/writing instructions and basic math.
• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize and demobilize jobsite operations and equipment.
• Assist electricians and other trades with underground utility placement.
• Perform concrete work including pours and form work.
• Perform general labor tasks: shoveling, trenching, grading, lifting, and material handling.
• Maintain and operate tools and company vehicles with care.
• Backfill trenches and assist with hand digging as directed.
