Team Fishel in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Telecom Supervisor (Underground Construction) to lead field crews on broadband projects. The role emphasizes safety and client communication, with responsibility for directing work, procuring materials, and driving project profitability.

The successful candidate will have 5–7 years in construction, knowledge of telecom/building practices, and the ability to coordinate multiple crews while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction: 5-7 years.
• Ability to communicate with teammates and customers.
• Competent Person Training in Trenching and Excavation.
• Competent Person Training in Confined Spaces.
• Valid Driver's License; Class A CDL desired.
• Familiar with construction drawings and blueprints.
• Good knowledge of aerial telecom, CATV or power.
• Experience leading small to medium projects.
• Able to coordinate one to three small crews.
• Coordinate subs and manage materials.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills (Word processing, Excel, email).

Responsibilities

• Walk-through with foreman and customer.
• Secure cost-effective materials.
• Recruit, interview and hire teammates.
• Champion teammate development programs.
• Evaluate teammates' performance and provide coaching.
