Job summary

Pauley Construction, LLC is hiring a Laborer II Telecom Underground in Colorado to support underground telecommunications construction. You will perform general labor, dig with hand tools and machinery, install cabling, and work around heavy equipment in various sites.

Eligible candidates should be at least 18, possess a valid Driver's License (Class A CDL), have a HS diploma or GED, and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work-related experience in utility construction, telecommunications or laborer work.
• Leadership experience to direct workflow and produce high quality results.
• Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated job duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Dig using hand shovel and mechanical tools.
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
• Climb in and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.).
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
• Work in congested or remote areas.
• Maintain safe coordination with crew and moving or stationary objects.
• Perform general construction work under supervision.
• Maintain safe working habits according to regulations and policies.
• Perform complex tasks with some independence and follow defined processes.
• Resolve routine issues while escalating complex problems.
• Work in all weather conditions.
