MasTec Communications Group is seeking an Underground Foreman to lead outdoor utility construction projects in a safety‑minded environment. This role involves instructing crews, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring quality workmanship on telecom sites across Ohio.

You will troubleshoot field issues, mentor team members, and manage all aspects of the job-site to deliver reliable infrastructure. This is a long-term, hands-on leadership position requiring strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of utility construction for telecom projects.
• Build, repair, and maintain projects at outdoor work sites.
• Troubleshoot field problems as they arise.
• Train the crew on tools and equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, dozers, cable plows, air compressors, trenchers.
• Manage all aspects of job-site construction.
