Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking an Underground Foreman to lead field crews on telecom construction projects. You will manage on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across outdoor sites.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring, and practical problem solving in coax/fiber splicing, directional drilling, and underground/ aerial construction. A valid CDL is preferred and DOT considerations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Use your knowledge and skills in construction to build, repair, and maintain projects.
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field.
• Train your crew on various kinds of tools and equipment.
• Operate backhoes, dozers, cable plows, air compressors, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers, and other types of machinery.
• Manage all aspects of job-site construction.
