MasTec Communications Group is seeking an Underground Foreman to lead field crews in California. You will oversee all aspects of utility construction for telecom projects, ensure safety and quality, and guide a hands-on team through demanding outdoor work.

Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, diagnosing field issues, mentoring crews, and maintaining project timelines. This is a full-time on-site role focused on delivering reliable infrastructure in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of utility construction for telecom projects.

• Troubleshoot field issues as they arise.
• Train crew on tools and equipment.
• Operate backhoes, dozers, cable plows, air compressors, trenchers and related machinery.
• Manage all aspects of job-site construction.
