Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking an Underground Foreman to lead field teams on telecom construction sites. You will supervise crew work, operate essential equipment, and ensure safety and quality across all on-site activities.

The role calls for hands-on leadership, problem solving, and the ability to mentor crew members on tools and procedures for coax/fiber splicing and related disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground telecom construction and field operations.

• Experience guiding crew in coax/fiber splicing and related tasks.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a Underground Foreman, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.

• Use your knowledge and skills in construction to build, repair, and maintain projects
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
• Train your crew on various kinds of tools and equipment
• Operate backhoes, dozers, cable plows, air compressors, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers & other types of machinery.
• Manage all aspects of job-site construction

MOS Codes 12H, 3E251, 3E271, 4305 relate well to this position.

Compensation of $30-$40 per hour, depending on the experience.
