Job summary

MasTec Communications Group seeks an Underground Foreman to lead field crews on telecom projects across outdoor work sites. You will build, repair, and maintain utilities while ensuring safety and high quality workmanship.

You will train crew members, troubleshoot field issues, and operate a range of heavy equipment to manage all aspects of the job-site construction. CDL is preferred, and experience in coax/fiber splicing and directional drilling is valued.

As an Underground Foreman, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

• Use your knowledge and skills in construction to build, repair, and maintain projects
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
• Train your crew on various kinds of tools and equipment
• Operate backhoes, dozers, cable plows, air compressors, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers, and other types of machinery
• Manage all aspects of job-site construction

• You have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT med card for driving purposes (CDL preferred; applicants are subject to an MVR review, and must meet company standards for a safe driving record)

MOS Codes 12H, 3E251, 3E271, 4305 relate well to this position.

Compensation of $32-$38 per hour, depending on the experience.
