Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is hiring a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team in Social Circle, GA. You will lead crews, train crew members, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with safety policies (OSHA and DOT) while coordinating with the supervisor on daily activities.

The role requires at least three years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations are followed
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
