Job summary

Foreman on our Telecom Underground team, based in Jonesboro, GA, leads field crews to meet project timelines and ensures safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT).

You will read blueprints, assist training, coordinate with the supervisor on daily activities, and communicate with property owners to resolve issues while safely operating heavy equipment in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• To be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• A valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
