STAR in Paducah, KY is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground to lead underground telecommunication crews. You will ensure safe, timely, and accurate installation, maintenance, and repairs, while supervising daily activities and guiding execution to meet goals.

You will coordinate billing with management, enforce OSHA/DOT safety policies, and investigate incidents. Strong leadership and problem solving are essential for success in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecommunications or utility construction is preferred.
• Proven leadership guiding teams to high quality results.
• Ability to perform duties and responsibilities as described.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and leads crews to install, maintain, and repair telecom equipment, ensuring safety, timeliness and accuracy.
• Supervises day-to-day activities and sets guidance on execution to meet deliverables.
• Coordinate with manager to invoice jobs in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations (OSHA/DOT).
• Conduct accident investigations and manage incidents and reporting.
• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to support projects.
• Identify issues and risks and develop response plans.
