Job summary

Star Construction LLC is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground to manage underground telecommunication crews and ensure safe, timely, and accurate installation, maintenance, and repair for customers. Strong knowledge of telecom construction and leadership of crews is required, with preferred experience in pole/anchor work, tree trimming, and flaggers.

The role involves safety compliance, coordinating invoicing, and frequent collaboration with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading crews in telecommunications or utility construction.
• Familiarity with equipment used in telecom construction and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and leads crews to complete pole and anchor placement, tree trimming, and flagger duties with emphasis on safety and timeliness.
• Monitors day-to-day activities, sets execution guidance, ensures deliverables.
• Coordinates with manager to invoice jobs in a timely manner.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, DOT, and project requirements across crews.
• Handles incident investigations and staff communications.
• Staffing, training, and performance management with HR support.
• Maintains equipment repair and fleet coordination.
• Interfaces with customers to discuss needs and goals.
