Job summary

Peabody Energy seeks an Eng Tech/Survey UG to perform surface and underground surveying at Gateway North Mine in Coulterville, Illinois. The role requires operating survey instruments like total stations, GPS, drones, and mapping for mine development and production.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated surveying experience on multiple equipment.
• Knowledge of mining regulations for underground work.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain survey instruments to perform mine surveys and mapping.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Contribute to production and ventilation surveys and data recording.
• Assist in air, water, and reclamation monitoring.
