Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Fixed Maintenance Supervisor for Shaft and Hoist Maintenance at Turquoise Ridge. You will supervise maintenance teams to meet production targets and development schedules in a safe, efficient manner.

The role requires extensive underground shaft experience, strong leadership, and a proven safety record. You will coordinate shaft work with production teams and mentor shaft and surface technicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years in maintenance of stationary equipment and/or dewatering equipment with emphasis on vertical shafts.
• Five to seven years of supervisory experience in a mining environment preferred.
• Underground shaft experience required; demonstrated ability to lead others and maintain safe practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and lead fixed maintenance teams to ensure production targets and schedules are met.
• Plan and lead all shaft maintenance work in consultation with production teams.
• Direct supervision and support of a crew of shaft and surface maintenance technicians.
• Ensure shaft documentation is completed accurately.
