Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Experienced Underground Operations Supervisor for Turquoise Ridge. This role requires leading a team in an underground hard rock mining environment, coordinating maintenance and engineering to align with mine plans, and developing staff to meet safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of underground mine related experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience at a supervisory level.
• Proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining.
• Experience in an environment involving planning/scheduling of maintenance work preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to supervise and direct underground supervision.
• Excellent safety and performance record.
• Mechanical cutting experience preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign personnel as jobs require.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment preforms as desired.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure compliance with mine plans.
• Develop and train employees to standards for safe and efficient equipment operation.
