Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Fixed Maintenance Technician to join our team at Goldstrike underground operations. This role requires a background in underground mining, maintenance, and metals, with a strong commitment to a safe work environment.

The position involves reporting to the Underground Fixed Maintenance Supervisor and performing preventative maintenance and repair of fixed mining equipment, including crushers, conveyors, and pumps, at both surface and underground

Qualifications

• Experience in underground mining maintenance.
• Ability to read precision measuring tools and perform repairs.
• Strong safety and attendance record.
• Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Underground Fixed Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of surface and underground fixed mining equipment such as crushers, conveyors, concrete mixing systems, pumps.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
