Nevada Gold Mines is hiring a Radio Communications Technician for Goldstrike Underground. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining radio, dispatch, GPS, and related systems to support operations in a safe, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven safety record is required.
• Must be able to rotate between nights and days.
• Excellent attendance is required.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize workload.
• Experience with commercial digital 2-way radio equipment preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install and maintain digital trunked 2-way radio systems.
• Learn to operate a volt-ohm-meter.
• Learn to install and maintain Hexagon Jigsaw dispatch systems.
• Learn to operate a digital wattmeter.
• Learn to install, test and maintain X-M satellite Radio System.
• Operate computer systems for data management and reporting.
• Operate a 2-way radio service monitor.
• Learn to install and maintain microwave and telemetry equipment.
• Learn to install and maintain public address systems (mobile and fixed).
• Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations, company policies and procedures, and the environmental compliance policy.
