Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services, Inc. is seeking an Underground Lineperson in Mooresville, NC. You will lead crew members, install transformers and underground power components, and work in underground manholes and trenches while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience reading prints and blueprints.
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew.
• Must wear approved Fire Retardant clothing and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assists crew with setting poles and anchors.
• Directs and assists crew with installing transformers, arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches and switchgear.
• Directs and assists crew with troubleshooting trouble in primary and secondary systems.
• Directs and assists crew with replacing cutout fuses and clears faulted circuits and systems.
