Job summary

PCL Construction, Inc. in San Diego, California is seeking a Superintendent - Underground Piping to lead complex underground piping projects and manage a diverse field team.

You will plan, coordinate and execute work from 6" to 84" pipe sizes, ensuring safety, quality and on-time completion. The role requires deep experience in underground piping, coordination with trades, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or undergraduate/engineering degree required.
• NCSO designation required; Gold Seal enrollment preferred.
• 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.
• Experience supervising construction workforce and understanding project scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground piping and associated duct bank construction activities.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; manage lookahead plans.
• Ensure safety, quality and productivity targets are met on site.
• Coordinate multiple trades and field teams; manage time sheets and productivity reporting.
• Liaise with client, subcontractors and field engineers to ensure plans meet drawings and specifications.
