Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an experienced pipelayer laborer for an underground crew. You will assist skilled workers, follow direction from foremen, and work overtime as needed. The role requires safety awareness and the ability to perform physical tasks in varying conditions.

Rate is $22-27/hr DOE with 40+ hour weeks and an estimated two-year project window. NCCER Core preferred and commitment to safety is essential for success on site.

Qualifications

• One year experience (level I), two years' experience (level II) and three plus years' experience in the industrial/conmercial construction industry is preferred.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Effective Math skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• Ask a supervisor before continuing if unsure about any aspect of the work or safety issues.
• Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work.
• Learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment.
• Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks and be willing to learn from others.
