Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking Pipe Layer Helpers to assist skilled craft workers on a construction site in Phoenix, AZ. The role trains the right candidates and pays $24 per hour for 40+ hours weekly, with background check and drug screen requirements.

Responsibilities include basic math, reducing waste, safety awareness, and learning to safely operate relevant tools while supporting crew efficiency and high-quality output.

Qualifications

• NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience (level I), two years (level II) and three plus years in industrial/commercial construction preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled craft workers and perform basic math tasks.
• Eliminate waste such as rework and unnecessary movement.
• Ask a supervisor if unsure about safety or process.
• Learn and safely use tools and equipment related to the work.
• Maintain positive relationships within the crew and produce quality work.
• Provide feedback to ensure materials and tools are available for tasks.
