Job summary

CRH Idaho Materials & Construction is seeking a construction supervisor to oversee digging and laying out pipe work. You will lead crews, read blueprints, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure safety compliance on active sites.

The role requires strong knowledge of underground utilities, planning, documentation, and collaboration with engineers. Occasional travel is required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with underground wet utilities installation.
• Ability to read blueprints, site specs and simple instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
• Safety minded with good attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel on site with safe, effective direction.
• Plan, troubleshoot and schedule daily work, assign priorities, requisition materials.
• Prepare and maintain written records, logs, time tickets, safety & inspection docs.
• Read and understand blueprints, charts, maps, and other construction drawings.
• Attend meetings, perform on-site inspections and weekly safety meetings.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently and locate utilities prior to digging.
• Travel to and from various locations; promote an inclusive work environment.
