Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary mining engineering degree with 10+ years' post-graduate experience.
• Strong background in underground mine development and production start-up.
• Proven ability to lead complex operations with safety, performance and commercial outcomes.
• GM-level or senior underground management experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive progression of DFS and the FID in collaboration with technical, commercial and project teams.
• Manage risk, regulatory obligations and stakeholder expectations.
• Provide strong safety leadership and cultivate a culture of compliance across exploration, construction, commissioning and operations.
• Lead operational readiness programs from development through commissioning to production.
• Build and lead high-performing teams, systems and processes aligned to corporate goals.
• Oversee mining, processing, project delivery, supply chain, maintenance and support functions.
• Optimize production performance, cost efficiency, asset utilisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide regular development and operational reporting and strategic advice to the Managing Director.
