Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Experienced Underground Frontline Supervisor for the Goldstrike operations in Carlin, NV. The role focuses on safe, efficient underground operation with an emphasis on coordinating maintenance and engineering to meet mine plans.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years underground mining experience, 3+ years in supervisory roles, and a proven safety record. The position involves nights/days rotating shifts and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of underground mine related experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience at a supervisory level required.
• Proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining required.
• Experience in an environment involving planning/scheduling of maintenance work preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to supervise and direct underground supervision required.
• Excellent safety and performance record required.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.

• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment preforms as desired
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure compliance with mine plans
• Develop and train employees to standards for safe and efficient equipment operation
