Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Experienced Underground Miner to join the Goldstrike Underground Operations Team in Nevada. You will safely operate mining equipment and support day-to-day mining activities under the direction of the Underground Operations Supervisor.

The role emphasizes strong safety performance, clear communication with Mine Operations personnel, and the ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.

Qualifications

• Previous underground equipment operating experience preferred.
• Excellent safety, attendance and work record required.
• Ability to communicate with all Mine Operations personnel.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; rotating nights/days schedule required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate mining equipment.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Train employees to operate underground equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
